Kinvest invests in catalyzing rural enterprise, across the agricultural value chain in Rwanda, to enable entire communities to permanently rise out of poverty.
Our Story
Kinvest exists to unlock the potential of rural communities in a way that inspires and rewards all stakeholders. Our model promotes employee ownership, development of assets, investor returns, and quality service and products for customers and clients. Our investments in agriculture and food businesses fuel rural development, create dignified jobs, build human capacity, and deliver long-term economic value that stays within communities through local ownership.
We offer the opportunity for people who want to invest in tangible change to put money directly into well structured, high potential, businesses that are creating rural jobs, or donate funds to training leaders and building communities. In everything that Kinvest does we ensure that our success is shared with and owned by the very communities we serve.
We are a team united by a passion for rural Africa with diverse expertise in finance, business, and international non-profits. Founded in January 2020, we introduce transformative solutions to address systemic challenges.

In just five years, we have created more than 1,000 stable jobs in agriculture. We have seen hundreds of community businesses double and triple their incomes and 20,000 more people (and counting) have daily access to clean water and energy.
