“Having a place, I can afford to start my business has given me a second chance to chase my dreams.”
Patrick is a retail shop owner and rural Rwandan entrepreneur renting a space at the Kinvest Impact Foundation’s Akayange Market Hub. After completing high school, he couldn’t attend university due to financial constraints. He wanted to start working but found that renting business space in his village was too expensive.
Through a friend, Patrick learned about the opportunities at Kinvest Impact Foundation and discovered that renting a spot at Akayange Market Hub was affordable, safe, and accessible. He seized the chance to start his business, seeing it as a second chance to pursue his dream of being a successful entrepreneur.
Patrick is also attending our Business Leader Development Program, a program designed to support the rural Rwandan entrepreneur, to strengthen his business knowledge and skills. His goal is to expand his shop and return to university to further his education, combining practical experience with academic growth.
