In March 2024, Alex, a rural Rwandan entrepreneur and a tailor from Karangazi, graduated from our Business Leader Development Program. Inspired by the success stories of previous graduates, he enrolled after witnessing how the program transformed lives and businesses. 

Although Alex had been a skilled tailor since 2008, he lacked experience in business management and financial planning. Our training equipped him with essential skills, including effective decision-making strategies. The lesson that stuck with him the most was the importance of staying focused on a clear goal, a principle he continues to follow. 

Today, Alex is applying what he learned to grow his business. He also joined a savings group in his local community. Now, he supports his family of six by covering school fees and health insurance. Through our business leader development program, we equip local entrepreneurs like Alex with critical business skills. Graduates of our program form peer networks, savings groups, and cooperatives, enabling people to run and grow their businesses.
