The Gatebe Market Hub is one of Kinvest Impact’s most promising initiatives. Our work in Gatebe began in 2021, when we launched a pilot market hub to test sustainable economic development in the area. As the months went by, entrepreneurial engagement grew rapidly, and the need for deeper investment became clear.

In response, we constructed a full-scale market hub with 5x the capacity in September 2023 to better serve the community.

Today, the hub provides clean water to over 1,220 families and renewable energy to over 30 businesses. Through our Business Leader Development Program, we’ve trained 105 leaders and helped 18 families join savings groups, fostering long-term stability and local resilience.
