Meet Claudine, a rural Rwandan Entrepreneur and a skilled tailor from Nyenyeri who graduated from our Business Leader Development Program in 2023.  

Before the training, Claudine had the technical skills needed for her business but struggled with financial planning and decision-making. The training helped her understand how to manage her resources, prioritize her expenses, and save for the future. With her new skills, she now has a clear financial plan for her business and saves on a weekly basis. Her new approach to saving has allowed her to pay school fees of her three children, secure family health insurance, and purchase a goat.  

Claudine’s savings have also enabled her to make investments and expand her business. With aspirations to continue to grow, she dreams of hiring an employee to help her manage the increasing demand. Claudine’s journey illustrates how our Business Leader Development Program training can transform the lives of a rural Rwandan Entrepreneur by equipping them with the skills they need to thrive.
