Two months ago, Winny became a small business owner for the first time. As a resident of Nyagashanga, she noticed a gap in access to essential goods within her community and saw an opportunity to make a difference. She opened a retail shop at our Nyagashanga Kinvest Solar Market Hub, a vibrant centre equipped with electricity and clean water, providing the ideal environment for her new venture. 

Since opening, Winny has not only had an impact of her community, providing household and personal care items, but also on her family. With her earnings, she now helps provide for her family, ensuring her seven children have balanced meals and can attend school. 

Winny has big dreams for her growing businesses at the Kinvest Solar Market Hub. She plans to enroll in our Business Leader Development Program to learn how to invest back into her business to continue expanding her inventory. With the support of her family and the resources from the market hub, she is building her future with determination and hard work.
