Meet Fellecitte, a dedicated Water Operator at our Gatebe Kinvest Solar Market Hub. A local member of the Gatebe community, she joined Kinvest in 2023 and has seen firsthand how reliable access to clean water has transformed daily life.
Before Kinvest, families had to travel long distances to collect water from the Akagera River. Today, with clean water readily available, everything has changed.
“Time is saved, health risks are reduced, and children no longer have to walk long distances before and after school. They can now focus more on their education,” Fellecitte shared.
As a mother of three, all in school, Fellecitte is grateful for the transformation Kinvest has brought to her community. Beyond clean water, the Gatebe Market Hub has created economic opportunities for local businesses, and training programs have equipped people with skills to improve their livelihoods.
Seeing her village thrive fills her with hope, and Fellecitte dreams of Kinvest expanding so other communities can experience the same transformation.
