Kinvest was honoured to host Prime Minister Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva at our farm to demonstrate successful sustainable agriculture in Rwanda, during his two-day working visit to Eastern Province. His visit highlighted the country’s ongoing commitment to modernizing agriculture, increasing productivity, and creating sustainable economic opportunities for communities across the region.
While visiting the us at Gabiro Agri-Business Hub, we showcased the integration of commercial farming, advanced irrigation, and market-driven strategies and how they are build stronger, more resilient agricultural systems. Our farm illustrated how technology and innovation can reduce risk for farmers, boost yields, and strengthen local food systems.
The Prime Minister’s tour also offered a firsthand look at how Kinvest’s 600 hectare farm is contributing to job creation, community development, and regional rural economic growth. From 2,000 kilometres of irrigated fields to streamlined operations, our work reflects our mission: combining sustainable agriculture with market-focused solutions to help communities thrive while producing high-quality, export-grade, fresh produce.
Hosting this national visit was an important milestone for our team. It reinforced Kinvest’s role as a leader in Rwanda’s agribusiness landscape and highlights the work being done in shaping the future of sustainable agriculture in Rwanda and across Africa.
We’re excited to keep growing our impact by partnering with others, expanding opportunities, and supporting farmers, youth, and communities throughout Eastern Rwanda.
